	Peoria Jazz jazz info	An informative site dedicated to jazz in Peoria and the surrounding area. Complete with performance calendar, musician bios, and venue information.
	WGLT 89.1 FM jazz radio	A highlight of living in Central Illinois is the fact that we have jazz radio all day long, Monday thru Friday! Their easy-listening format is augmented by other fantastic NPR shows, news, and blues on the weekends. You can also listen online.
	Panache live music	A wonderful coffee shop in Peoria that has been a nice home for jazz since 1997. A comfortable non-smoking atmosphere complete with food, drink, games, reading material, wireless internet, music, and a real grand piano!
	The Iron Post live music	A restaurant/bar in Urbana that has also been a home for jazz and other music for a few years now. You can hear the areas most seasoned musicians as well as the up-and-coming talents.
	Sam Crain guitarist	Jazz guitarist and prolific composer from Springfield who has many CDs available. Includes informative jazz information and links, as well as fun stories, FAQs, and useful handy tips for musicians. Informative and entertaining!
	Dave Hoffman trumpeter	Trumpeter and composer formerly with the Ray Charles Orchestra. Dave has several CDs available, and includes many interesting and funny stories of being on the road.
	Joe Metzka guitaristvocalist	This talented guitarist/vocalist has established himself around the Peoria area as a cross-over blues and jazz musician and performs a wide range of popular music, old and new. Stay up to date on his performances and latest recordings.
	Cassie Hart saxophonist/writer	Although this is actually a blog, Cassie has miscellaneous commentary on the local and national jazz scenes, as well as a listing of her upcoming performances. Always an informative and entertaining read!
	Craig Russo percussionist	Percussionist and Latin jazz band leader from Springfield. His band is very active around the area, and has two CDs of solid, well-arranged Latin jazz. The site includes band info as well as links to cool Latin jazz and percussion websites.
	Bill Schlipf bassist/piano tuner	Skilled bassist and piano tuner from the Bloomington-Normal area. He plays bass with just about everyone in Central Illinois, and can make a piano sound its very best. After tuning your piano, be sure to ask him to play "Waltz for Debby."
	Doug Stone saxophonist	Doug and his tasteful musicianship have been an inspiration to his listeners as well as those of us who have played with him for a long time. I can listen to him play all day and night! He is also a wonderful teacher, clinician, composer, and arranger.
	Jeff Helgesen trumpeter	Champaign trumpeter also formerly with the Ray Charles Orchestra. This site includes useful information such as transcriptions of trumpet solos and a Champaign-Urbana jazz performance calendar.
	Ashanti Latin Jazz band	Latin jazz group from Iowa in which my friend Tim Crumley has played percussion with for a long time. They play a nice mix of vocal and instrumental music, and have three CDs of all original material too! Recently performed with Claudio Roditi.
	Speechless instrumental band	Tim Brickner and Mike Nellas, two Peoria area jazz musicians that I work with frequently, are involved in a 7 piece band called Speechless. They play instrumental hits from the 50's through the early 70's. Cool song list, and fun website!
